Our Organization in Luxor

Since April of 2007, the Small Pyramid has a center on the West Bank of Luxor. The majority of the sponsored families and children live on the rural West side of the city, so that this ideal location of the new center has enormously facilititated our caregiving and the “path to help”.

In the ground-floor rooms, there is a combined medical and therapy room, a large multifunctional training room, two offices with a waiting area and a garden with play area. This center is the main contact point for all our families.

The equipping of this center was possible thanks to the generous official sponsorship of the project by the German Embassy in Cairo and the German Foreign Office, as well as various other fund-raising campaigns.

Besides the medical, therapeutic and social care provided in our center, we also have a broad offering of courses for education and vocational training for children and their mothers, as well as providing daycare services for the children whose mothers are in a course.
